FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much hydrogen can your reactor produce?

Our reactors are modular and scalable. A small reactor with 25g of catalyst can produce
approximately 7 liters of hydrogen per minute (over 400 L/hr). Larger configurations can
exceed 30 L/min. We customize production capacity based on your hydrogen demand —
from small engine support to larger energy systems.

How long does it take to manufacture a reactor?

Once your design specifications are finalized, the average production timeline is approximately 8 weeks (2 months), depending on volume and customization level.

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide. Whether you’re on a remote island, in a major city, or operating in the field, we’ll get your reactor to you.

Can we partner with Falcon49?

Yes. We welcome collaboration and partnership with companies, universities, and individuals. Falcon49 acts as both a manufacturer and engineering partner. If you have a catalyst or use case, we can design and build the hydrogen reactor for you.

What catalyst materials are compatible with your reactor?

Our reactors are designed to accept a broad range of mineral-based catalysts, including proprietary blends like those developed by Dark Matter Materials and university labs. If your catalyst produces hydrogen when exposed to heated water, we can build the reactor to support it.

Do your reactors require electricity for hydrogen production?

No electricity is used to split water. Our system uses thermal energy only — typically via battery-powered heating or waste heat — to activate the catalyst-water reaction. Electricity may be needed for pumps, sensors, or heating, but hydrogen production itself is non- electrolytic.

What if I want to integrate the reactor into a boat or vehicle?

We specialize in integration. Our hydrogen-on-demand reactors can be built directly into marine vessels, mobile systems, construction equipment, or stationary power setups. Let us know your specs — we’ll do the rest.

What size are your reactors?

We build to suit. Current prototypes range from 20–115 liters, with customizable ports, sensors, and insulation depending on your use case.

What’s inside the reactor?

Our patented design includes:
– A corrosion-resistant tank
– Heating elements
– A perforated catalyst insert
– Pressure and temperature sensors
– Safety release valves

Water enters, heats up, interacts with the mineral catalyst, and releases clean hydrogen gas
— on demand.

Is this system safe and eco-friendly?

Yes. The only inputs are water and catalyst, and the only gas produced is pure hydrogen. There are no harmful emissions, and hydrogen generation is controlled by temperature and catalyst contact.

Can I scale this system?

Yes — our system is fully modular. You can scale up your hydrogen production by:
– Increasing the amount of catalyst
– Adding parallel reactor units
– Integrating automated controls for pressure/flow monitoring.

What are your manufacturing capabilities?

Falcon49 has several key manufacturing partners and facilities that allow us to serve clients
globally. We are capable of delivering high-quality hydrogen reactors at scale, including
fulfilling large commercial orders. Our engineering team works closely with manufacturing
teams to ensure precision, reliability, and scalability in every build.
